What should my child wear to play Teddy Tennis?
Sports clothes and shoes… and please bring a bottle of drinking water too!
What happens if it rains?
We will notify you by email if the class is going to be cancelled due to weather and we will issue you with a credit which can be used to book other Teddy Tennis lessons.
Do I need to buy a tennis racket for my child?
All equipment is provided but we do have a Pro Shop on-line where you can buy equipment clothing and merchandise. You can also buy clothing and equipment form our web shop.
Do you offer ‘trial’ lessons so I can see if my child likes it?
No we do not offer trial lessons but what we can offer is a full refund on all the lessons you child does not attend if you do not like the first lesson… just email the coach before the next lesson starts so we can arrange the refund.
Are parents expected to join in and participate in the lesson?
No. For the first lesson, especially for very young children, parents may be needed to encourage their child to participate and join in.
What happens if I book and pay for a class that is full?
The system will not let you book into a class that is full so no need to worry.
I received a Credit for a class that got cancelled because of rain, how do I use this ‘credit’?
You can use your credit when you book your next Teddy Tennis lesson(s); the system will know that you are due a credit and will take account of it when you come to check out.
How long are credits valid for?
There is no time limit on using our credits.

Cotswolds – West Oxfordshire

We run Teddy Tennis Lessons, Teddy Tennis Holiday Camps and Teddy Tennis Birthday Parties for children aged 2 to 5+ years old and who are either beginners or improvers.

Starting in June 2022 Teddy Tennis will be at Milton under Wychwood Village Hall which has the benefit of having an enclosed lawn, perfect for Teddy Tennis, so we can teach outdoors as well as indoors, for when the weather is not kind!

Louisa Buchanan

Growing up with a large extended family it was only natural that Louisa wanted to work with young children. She earned her Early Childhood Diploma at the Montessori Centre International which lead her to becoming a nursery school teacher in London. After four years Louisa wanted a new challenge and was appointed one to one support teacher for an autistic boy in reception.

Louisa is mad about tennis and has been lucky enough to go to the championships at Queen’s club for the past several years as well as Wimbledon and the French Open. She competed in the second pair at school in Oxfordshire and was runner up in both singles and doubles in her final year. After school she became a member of a tennis club in London where she played for Surrey in the second team.
